The Maryland/District of Columbia Chapter of ERAPPA will
hold the second annual Retreat and Educational Program at the Rocky Gap Lodge
and Conference Center in Cumberland, Maryland on June 20th and 21st.
The theme of this year’s program is “Measure Up at Rocky Gap II”
and is a continuation of last year’s program that focused on quality measures
in facilities organizations.
This years keynote presentation will involve a hands-on
presentation and workshop presented by Robin L. Lawton, the author of the best
selling book “Creating a Customer Centered Culture: Leadership in Quality,
Innovation, and Speed”. Robin
Lawton is President of International Management Technologies, a consulting firm
in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He also
teaches periodically at the University of Minnesota and Metropolitan University.
This year, the MD/DC APPA Board invited colleagues from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) to attend the retreat to provide additional insight into our pursuit of excellence in facilities management. This retreat promises to be extremely informative and will provide an opportunity to network with colleagues from various backgrounds in the facilities management field.
Our Fall 2002 meeting is scheduled for September 20, 2002, at the University of Maryland, College Park. The meeting will be held in the Golf Course Clubhouse located on the College Park Campus. Tentative topics for this meeting include:
