MD/DC Chapter News            September 2002   

The Maryland/District of Columbia Chapter of ERAPPA held the 2002 Retreat and Educational Program at the Rocky Gap Lodge and Conference Center in Cumberland, Maryland on June 20th and 21st.  This years keynote presentation involved a hands-on workshop presented by Robin L. Lawton, the author of the best selling book “Creating a Customer Centered Culture: Leadership in Quality, Innovation, and Speed”.  Robin Lawton is President of International Management Technologies, a consulting firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

Because of the success of this year’s retreat, the Third Annual Retreat and Educational Program has already been scheduled for June 25, 2003, through June 27, 2003.  Mark these dates on your calendar today so you don’t miss this important event!! 

Our final Chapter Meeting for 2002 is being hosted by the University of Maryland, College Park and is scheduled for September 18, 2002.  The meeting will be held in the Golf Course Clubhouse located on the College Park Campus.  Elections of officers for 2003 will be held at this meeting during the business session.  The three educational topics for this meeting are:

Tours of the new Comcast Athletic Complex and Fine Arts Center will be conducted after the education sessions.
