The purpose of the MD/DC Chapter of APPA is to:

• Develop and Plan the Administration, Care, Operation and Maintenance of Higher Education Facilities;
• Promote Professional Ideas and Standards to Better Serve the Objectives of Higher Education;
• Promote the Exchange of Information in all Phases of Education Facilities Planning, Design, Construction, Operation and Maintenance, Particularly with Reference to Problems of Special Interest to Institutions Located in the Region;
• Engage in Related Activities That May be Desirable or Required to Fulfill the Purpose and Objectives of the Organization;

The Maryland/D.C. Chapter is chartered by [APPA] and is a member unit of the Eastern Region of APPA [ERAPPA].
