Scholarship

MD/DC APPA awards three scholarships each year worth the cost of registration to any of the four APPA educational programs (EFP Prep Course, Supervisor’s Toolkit: Nuts and Bolts of Facilities Supervision, Institute for Facilities Management, or the Leadership Academy), plus $500 travel expense reimbursement.

The Scholarship Applications can be submitted between July 1st and September 1st of each calendar year. Application forms (applicants and supervisors) must be completed online and received on the ERAPPA website no later than September 1, 2009. Applications received after September 1st will be returned to the applicant for re-submission for the next year. Only applications received directly from the applicant will be considered.

Application forms are to be completed online only via the ERAPPA website. Once a completed application is received, a confirmation email is sent to the applicant indicating the application has been received and outlining the award process.

Applications will be reviewed and evaluated at the ERAPPA level for consideration prior to the ERAPPA Annual Meeting which is held in the fall each year. The scoring will be based on a single set of criteria for all scholarship types. Those not selected at the ERAPPA level will then be forwarded to MD/DC APPA for consideration.
