MD/DC APPA is pleased to offer APPA’s Supervisor’s Toolkit Program, Tuesday,
July 20 through Friday, July 23, 2010, at The George Washington University.
Supervisor’s Toolkit: Nuts and Bolts of Facilities Supervision
is a program designed and developed by
APPA. It is a seven-module program, presented over approximately thirty-two
hours. This is a unique program,
taught by master and qualified trainers, and is tailored specifically for
educational facilities professionals.
The content provides a strong foundation for new or less experienced
supervisors, yet it also benefits all levels of supervisors, managers and
directors who have never had formal supervisory training or who may
benefit from a refresher course. The
facilitators for this program will be Michelle Frederick, Manager/Training &
Organizational Development, American University, and Nancy Yeroshefsky,
Assistant Director, Facilities Human Resources & Payroll, University of Maryland
College Park.
All participants will be provided with an official Toolkit Participant Guide and
handouts from which they will work during the training. Each workbook remains
the property of the participant. Certificates of Completion, as well as 3.0
continuing education units (CEUs), are provided by APPA for each participant
completing the training program. (Participants are required to complete the four
days of training to receive their certificate and CEUs.)
The registration
cost is $405 per person, which covers
continental breakfast, lunch, parking and beverage breaks, along with the
materials referenced above. To
